Explore the Arctic with Bliss as your guide, beginning at CAMP Kitchen & Bar in Pyhä. After a warm meet and greet, clients are taken to a suitable location for a theory workshop on Arctic nature and survival skills. Discover both traditional and contemporary techniques as Bliss’ survival instructor introduces essential gear, including Arctic sleeping bags, mats, clothing for extreme cold, and various stove systems. Learn about the materials’ suitability for harsh environments while enjoying a light yet nutritious meal.
Step into the wilderness for a hands-on experience in snow survival. Weather permitting, the instructor will demonstrate how to build a quinzee, a traditional snow shelter made by hollowing out a pile of settled snow. Clients participate in constructing their own quinzee, which takes a couple of hours, followed by another snack or meal. Prepare for an overnight stay in the shelter, with the Bliss guide monitoring throughout the night and providing backup support if needed. Wake up to warm drinks and a morning snack, with individual check-ins to ensure everyone is well, before the guide leads the group back to civilization.

Arctic night tours was amazing! They use scientific and weather data to find the places most likely to see the lights and we saw aurora two nights in a row! Aurora is beautiful and majestic and not to be missed! The guides are friendly and knowledgeable and took great photos too! We highly recommend them!

This was truly an unforgettable experience! We had spent several nights chasing the aurora from Anchorage to Fairbanks, but hadn’t been able to catch a spectacular display — until we joined the Arctic Circle day tour. A huge thank you to Elena for taking such great care of us! The tour was fun, well-organized, and we finally saw the Northern Lights we had been dreaming of. Ed and Elena are spectacular guides whose passion for chasing the aurora and capturing beautiful photos made our trip unforgettable. They drove us far enough from Fairbanks to an open clearing to have optimal viewing with no light pollution. They encouraged us to take as many professional photos as we wanted and were just as excited as us to see the photos with the incredible lights. They offered many different snacks and had a warm van with large windows to keep us comfortable. The lights were magical, but even if they weren't out we would have still enjoyed it because Ed and Elena had such fun personalities and were great guides! And as a nice surprise we were each given some cake as we were dropped off! You will not regret this tour, BOOK IT!!
