We had a wonderful private food tour with Elio. Communication with Elio and his business partner, Carlos, was easy. The tour included 5 stops - we learned a lot about Iberico ham and sherry, Elio’s specialty interest. Elio adapted the tour to my vegetarian/pescatarian diet. Food choices and locations were great! Elio is engaging and this was a truly enjoyable way to spend an evening in Seville. I would highly recommend this tour.
Elio took my wife and I on a tour around Sevilla on our anniversary and it was a great way to spend it! Elio was a brilliant guide, a proper local and extremely knowledgeable. Everyone around the town as we were walking around greeted him as a friend so we knew we were in good hands! All the food we had was amazing, and it was very interesting to learn about the local produce. The tour was worth every penny several times over.
Absolutely outstanding tour! Anto was beyond incredible—her deep knowledge of Seville, warm personality, and genuine passion for the city made this experience unforgettable. Every food and drink stop was perfectly chosen, and her additional restaurant recommendations became some of our favorite meals for the rest of the trip. The Betis fútbol bar and that amazing truffle dish were absolute highlights, and ending the evening with dinner at the 3rd generation family’s restaurant and home was the perfect finishing touch. I can’t recommend this tour—and Anto—highly enough. You’ll fall in love with Seville through her eyes!
STOP! Before you read another “food tour” review for Seville, you need to understand that this one is different! My husband and I have done plenty of tours and without question this was the best! Elio was amazing. His love and passion for his city and its food was so evident. We constantly passed people in the street who he greeted. The food we had was authentic and plentiful. Elio’s knowledge about every aspect of the food and wine was unbelievable. We enjoyed him and the tour so much that we have already eaten at 3 of the stops we made. Elio’s Tapas and Drink tour was fantastic. He shares his food, drink and regional knowledge in a fun and exciting manner. Elio answered all the questions we had about traditions and culture. The food presented at the different locations was delicious samples of traditional tapas and dishes that we may not have tried on our own. Everything was delicious and the amount was so filling. The restaurants chosen were obviously mainstays of Seville’s old town and run by local families. Elio’s tour was the best food tour we have taken in any city so far. Elio is a local with such enthusiasm about his own community, food and traditions which is rare in the tourist industry of today. Thanks so much Elio. 😘 5 stars for sure!!!!
Wonderful tour and a perfect way to get some city highlights and try some delicious local food and wine! Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and the intimate setting was perfect! (4-6 people) Would highly recommend this tour!
Visited places we wouldn't have gone to otherwise. Interesting explanations and delicious tapas. And our host Lauren was very nice and friendly.
The food was excellent, much more than we expected, be sure to show up hungry! Lorena was fantastic, personable and outgoing, she was interesting and we really enjoyed chatting with her.
