We had a fantastic experience with Alfonso at Malaga Activa Tours for the Caminito del Rey! Alfonso was always readily available via WhatsApp to answer any questions, which was very reassuring. Even though we got caught in the morning rush hour coming from Nerja and were running late to the meeting point, Alfonso kindly waited a few extra minutes for us. (He does have a required time to reach the Caminito, so there is some limit to flexibility, which is understandable.) The van was clean and comfortable, and the tour itself was excellent. It was informative and enjoyable, and being in a smaller group of just 8 people made it even better. I have a fear of heights, but the trail was perfectly manageable for me. The bridge was the most challenging part, but it wasn’t too difficult as long as I didn’t look down! Overall, we really enjoyed our day and would definitely book any other tours with Alfonso. He is friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable—an absolute pleasure to tour with.
First off if you're going to do any tours in Malaga, please book it with this group. This was the absolute best decision we did while visiting Malaga. Alfonso was a wonderful and fantastic host. He was very informative and answered any questions the group had for him. Another positive is that these groups are a small, maximum of eight people. So not only do you get a more personable tour, you get to meet and talk with new and fantastic people in the group. During the entire tour we felt safe, with a well-organized host. If we were ever to visit Malachi again we would absolutely do another tour with this group. Thank you for your courteousness, and professionalism during the tour we enjoyed it very much.
We had a most fantastic time doing Caminito del Rey today. Alfonso was extremely knowledgeable and an expert guide. The trail was fantastic and possible to do despite being in our seventies. Thank you Alfonso for a great experience.

Wow! We had a great private tour of Caminito Del Rey with Alfonso. He picked our group up at the cruise ship port, drove us out to the park and kept a great pace for our 7.5 km hike. He knew so much about the history, and ecology of the area. He answered everyone’s questions and share some of his own stories about his past tours. After we finished we enjoyed a light picnic lunch and another scenic ride back to the port. I would definitely recommend his tour to others.
