More artisan / small scale. Traditional workshop, good for authentic swords and knives, handmade. Might be one of the more authentic / less tourist-mass retail places.

I was searching for an authentic souvenir, and a piece of history. Carlotta guided me to a simple, beautifully crafted knife that will always remind me of my time in Toledo. Thank you for sharing your time and knowledge.

We had an amazing time at the factory, it was definitely the highlight of our trip to Toledo. Carlota in particular was an amazing guide and very knowledgeable about the history of the swords - beautiful too ;)

Surprised a group of friends with a visit to this store on the recommendation of another friend. Privileged to witness the products of such mastery of a rare craft, and the renewal of this legacy in the young shopkeeper, Carlota, who was knowledgeable and energetic in her hospitality. We felt welcome in the store and learned a lot about the craft of sword smithing and the many high quality products that the small team produces. Carlota showed us one of the swords she was in the process of making, an old Spanish stye sword called a falcata. Está bacano!

If you're considering taking a school group to this "sword-making" attraction, think again. What’s advertised as an educational, behind-the-scenes experience turns out to be little more than a thinly veiled cash grab aimed squarely at unsuspecting tourists and children. The so-called demonstration was rushed, superficial, and lacked any real insight into the craft of sword-making. Instead of a genuine educational experience, we were herded through a gift shop masquerading as a showroom, with staff more interested in pushing overpriced souvenirs than answering questions or engaging with the students. This place markets itself as cultural enrichment, but it’s nothing more than a tourist trap. Save your time, your money, and your students’ attention spans — and seek out a venue that actually respects its visitors.
