We had a terrible experience with what was supposed to be a sunset, dinner, and show package booked through their marketing guy at Pickalbatros Citadel. We paid 80€ for two people, expecting a beautiful evening with a sunset view, a decent dinner, and an entertaining show — none of which actually happened. There was no sunset at all, the dinner lasted barely 10 minutes, and the show was over in about 20 minutes. We were back at our hotel by 7 PM, completely confused and disappointed. Even worse was the transfer to the “Bedouins.” The drivers were reckless, speeding through the desert in a dangerous way. I hit my head on the roof of the vehicle and suffered a neck injury, and no one even bothered to check if I was okay. Their only concern seemed to be rushing to finish the trip. The camel ride lasted less than 2 minutes – literally a quick loop. In comparison, I did a similar trip in Sharm El Sheikh where the camel ride was at least 20 minutes and the show lasted over an hour and a half, complete with a proper fire performance. Here, there was no fire show at all, despite being advertised. This entire experience felt like a complete scam, poorly organized and misleading from start to finish. Never again. Avoid this at all costs.
WARNING!!! DONT BUY “mineral” water at the stop during the quad tour! They refill old bottles with tap water and sell them for the ridiculous price of €2!!! Tap water in Egypt can cause diarrhea, so it’s definitely not safe to drink. That said, the rest of the tour was still a lot of fun, and I do recommend the quad experience overall, just be careful and avoid getting scammed! 🫶
Wild Desert Safari was hands down one of the best things I did in Egypt. The ATV ride through the desert was thrilling—riding across massive dunes with incredible views all around. The guides were friendly, made everything feel safe, and even helped us take awesome photos. We also got to enjoy traditional Bedouin tea in a quiet desert camp, which was such a peaceful moment, and the camel ride was a fun, authentic touch. The whole experience was super well-organized, with a perfect mix of adventure, culture, and unforgettable scenery. Highly recommend this if you’re visiting Egypt—you won’t regret it!
What an amazing experience. Everything about this was extremely professional. The crew and staff as well as organisation was very proficient and I would book with them again 100% of the time. They organised collection, drop off, instructions, took videos and pictures of the journey.
