The tour was great, the drive to Alexandria was scenic and the sights once we arrived were spectacular. 10/10
We really enjoyed the tour. We explored the Catacombs, Citadel and the Roman Theatre. The Library of Alexandria was closed, but that didn’t take away from the experience. The ride was very comfortable, our driver was great and the guide did a good job. The koshary we had for lunch was delicious.
It was extremely interesting and our guide Osama Mohamed was very knowledgeable and friendly. Maybe the Mosque could be left out because it is a long day, and there was little to see, specially as it is under renovation
I would absolutely recommend this trip! If you can, though, try to go on a day other than Friday, as the Library of Alexandria is closed then. That said, even though we went on a Friday (which was clearly mentioned in the tour details), the experience was still great. Our guide, Armando, was very passionate and shared so many fascinating insights about the history and importance of each site. Instead of the Library, we visited Pompey’s Pillar, which is also quite impressive. Another pleasant surprise was that, being Friday morning, the city was almost empty since most locals only go out after the noon prayer. Further, leaving Cairo at 6 a.m. meant we arrived early enough to explore the monuments peacefully, before the crowds — a real bonus!
We had a wonderful time on our tour. Our driver was on time and very friendly. The drive to and from Alexandria was comfortable and we made some stops on the way. Once we got to Alexandria, we met our guide and she was wonderful. She showed us the site of the lighthouse of Alexandria, catacombs, a beautiful Mosque and the new library of Alexandria. It was a long day but worth it. Next time I will spend a few days in Alexandria.
Our guide to the new Grand Egyptian Museum was excellent. Mina was very professional and has an extensive knowledge of Egyptian History. He helped us understand the eras of Egyptian history and culture. The newly opened museum is a treasure itself and a wonderful show case to the world of the tourism Egypt has to offer.
Fantastic tour with Mohamed Salama. The places we saw and the information given by Mohamed was spot on. He and his driver were so accommodating and courteous. We chose to have lunch as part of our tour and we were taken to a restaurant that had a lovely view of the ocean and yummy food. Wonderful way to spend the day.
The tour was wonderful! We saw so much of Alexandria in a day and had a great seafood lunch by the water.
We booked a day tour for Alexandria. It was group tour. Our taxi arrived on time and we covered lots of places. Our guide was very friendly, funny and knowledgeable. Driver was nice as well. We had fun time.
