Step back in time with the "Taste of USSR" experience, where you'll sample some of the most iconic alcoholic drinks from the Soviet era. While vodka was undoubtedly the drink of the working class, the upper echelons of society enjoyed finer options like Armenian cognac and Georgian wine. For major Communist party events, a special vodka blend was created, while festive occasions like New Year’s or birthdays wouldn’t be complete without a glass of sparkling Soviet champagne. You’ll also get to try Vana Tallinn, an Estonian liqueur that became a Soviet classic.
The tasting takes place in a cozy and authentic restaurant located in the heart of Tallinn’s Old Town, right on the main square. It’s the perfect setting to savor history through flavor, and to learn more about the unique drinking culture that existed behind the Iron Curtain.

You can find Thousand kinds of whiskeys:-)

Excellent variety of Whiskeys. HORRIBLE customer service. The woman there was clearly annoyed when I asked for the price of a bottle that I was going to buy. I did, I had to ask for a bag (she got annoyed again)....and she just throw the bag in the counter in such a horrible manner!! So I payed put my bottle on the bag and left. Don'teven git her name because I was so disappointed.... 06/07/2025 18:45

The Temple Bar Distillery Store in Dublin is a haven for whiskey enthusiasts. Upon entering, you're greeted by a vast selection of Irish whiskeys, each with its own story and flavor profile. The knowledgeable staff are passionate about their craft, offering personalized recommendations that cater to both novices and connoisseurs.

Considering it’s in a tourist heavy district, this is a surprisingly good whiskey bar to visit while in Dublin. Broad selection of whiskey from Harlan, I Americana, Scotland and places beyond. Prices are reasonable, considering the area. Plus you can get your drink and walk out on the street. Definitely stop by or near the Temple bar area

Being smack dab in the middle of the Temple Bar area, we sort of expected this to be nothing more than a tourist trap. Fortunately, we were wrong. The staff was extremely helpful and helped us pick out a bottle of whiskey to bring home for a friend- something that they wouldn't be able to find at home. He offered us several samples until we found the perfect bottle. Was it a little higher price than we could have gotten outs of the Temple Bar area? Probably, but the service and the samples more than made up for it. This is a great shop with a huge selection.
