Very unique experience, very kind guide. Came to pick me up because I had no car. Very nice and shared his knowledge, which was very interesting.
I had the time of my life in Dark Sky Park with Morten. Sign up for his mailing list to find out which day has the least cloud cover, which is ideal for stargazing. Morten was friendly, knowledgeable and philosophical. I got to live my teenage astronomy ambition looking at planets and stars through the telescope. Also saw the Milky Way, meteors, Cygnus, Pleiades with bare eyes. I slept in my sleeping bag under the stars and I cannot forget that feeling of closing my eyes to the brightness of the stars and sounds of the forest. During day time I also enjoyed the majestic chalk cliffs of Møn, the seaweed smelling beaches, the grassland walks with long shadows casted by autumn sun. We discussed how stargazing can remind us how small and insignificant we are in the scale of the universe. So why fight against one another? Why take our personal struggles so seriously? They don’t make a dent in the time and space in this universe. And it was a good feeling remembering we are not the centre of the universe. I also learnt that Dark Sky Park serves a greater meaning beyond stargazing. It is about restricting light use to reduce light pollution, save energy, return to the natural rhythm of light and darkness so wildlife and human can thrive better.
Morten is extremely knowledgeable about both astronomy and photography. He easily adjusted the experience to my interests and answered all of my questions. The weather had been on and off cloudy all week and the day leading up. Morten kept in regular communication with me and was flexible enough to adjust timing based on when the sky cleared so I had the optimum view of the Milky Way. Already recommended this experience to friends!

Dark Sky is a must on Møn! Morten provided both standing and lying stargazing - with great viewing of special areas with laser and great knowledge of all the little glimmers in the great darkness.
