Very interesting to see so much of the wall still standing and to see the section with both walls still up. I love the artwork and the repurposing of the wall into something powerful. Each section is so unique to the artist and it's worth the time to walk it all for yourself.

The artwork not only celebrates freedom but also includes clean, powerful graffiti that traces the story of the Berlin Wall dividing East and West Germany.Beyond the murals, the park behind the wall provides a peaceful and picturesque spot to relax after the walk, making the entire visit both culturally enriching and refreshing. I had to visit this place for my 3 days in Berlin and it didn't disappoint! Iconic to Berlin. Some are a trip and some I didn't get, but if you run into those you can walk right past to a new piece. Information on the artists is listed in front of the artwork. Super cool. I went solo I don't think I would want to go as a group by going solo you can spend time enjoying the parts you like and take it at your own pace.
A little way from the main tourist attractions, it’s a pleasant walk along the river Spree to see the longest remaining part of the Berlin Wall. 1.3 km in length, decorated by over 100 artists with short information boards along the way. Here you get a feel of what a divided city this was. Only the 3.6 m inner wall remains but add the boundary signal fence, 3m border fence and a watchtower every 600 meters to appreciate how separate both sides must have felt.
Incredible experience walking through east side gallery. The art is amazing and being able to touch the Berlin Wall is also priceless. The feeling of connection and candy for your eyes with the art. I highly recommend. Touch it, feel it and bring in the moment.
