Get your heart pumping and take on one of Vancouver’s most invigorating outdoor workouts with the Mother Nature’s Stairmaster Hike. This fitness focused adventure begins with a 2.5 km brisk walk along the scenic Spanish Banks Beachfront, where ocean views, fresh coastal air, and mountain backdrops set the tone for an energizing morning. Once you arrive at the stair section, prepare for a challenging round-trip climb of 1,000 stairs that leads down to a stunning hidden beachfront and back up again. It’s a perfect blend of nature and exercise ideal for travelers who want to stay active while experiencing Vancouver’s natural beauty.
After conquering the stairs, you’ll enjoy a cool down walk back along the waterfront, taking in the calm seaside atmosphere as you finish your 5 km route. By the time you return to the starting point, you’ll have completed a full cardio session, taken in gorgeous coastal views, and earned that post hike glow. This adventure is designed for fitness enthusiasts seeking a fun, rewarding challenge surrounded by Vancouver’s most picturesque outdoor landscapes.

Great day out. Gondola ride gives fantastic view of Vancouver. Great show by the lumberjacks and the two rescued bears are lovely. We were there at feeding time so it was extra special. The ski chair lift to the top was great. Fabulous views all around Vancouver. Well worth the entrance fee. I didn’t book in advance but there was no problem with buying tickets there. Well worth a visit

Beautiful place to be, it was nice to enjoy the serenity as a tourist with the Free Local Day pass rather than sweaty hiker. New blue gondola is fast! Also be sure to check out the free Peak Chairlift that takes you to top of Grouse Mountain!

I'm so glad to experience this. I've been to Grouse mountain a few times and we were here (we live in California and visit my wife's sisters here in BC) during the winter. I have NEVER been to the peak and this was an amazing view and had fun with my kids checking it out.

This was a challenge since I don’t hike daily but definitely doable. I wished I had brought my hiking poles but still doable. I would definitely do this again.

It has a nice scenery over here!!! If you can hike well, this part will definitely be easy for you to climb!!! You can see the whole view of the city of Vancouver, if the date which you hiked this mountain’s weather is clear!!!
