Truly awe-inspiring sight. The power and force of Shannon Falls are remarkable. Definitely recommend stopping if you are ever in the area, and see mother nature and father times, work in progress. This is an extremely majestic area, love it. As always, leave it better than you found it and enjoy 😉.
This place was such a highlight of our trip in Canada. I highly recommend everyone stop here. It’s so peaceful and beautiful. The water is so fresh. The air is so clean one of my most favorite places I’ve gone in Canada.❤️🌲💧🦅🪨🧗
The falls are a short hike from the sea to sky gondola parking lot. Approximately a 10 minutes hike. The view point may be crowded. If you want to get closer to the falls there is a 5 minute hike on the left of viewpoint. The falls are the third highest in the British Columbia. Good spot for picnic.
A definite must-stop! The trail is mostly wheelchair accessible, although the final viewpoint requires navigating stairs. Conveniently, there are free parking spots nearby, along with public restrooms. The natural surroundings are simply breathtaking, with a stunning waterfall and evident efforts to preserve the environment. Whether you're on your way to or from Whistler, taking a 20-30 minute walk here is a refreshing break that's well worth it!
Park is amazing, with lots to do and see. The highlight is definitely the waterfall at the end of one of the trails; however, it's not easy to get too close to it - so may be a disappointment for some. The parking lot is massive, so easy parking, and a great pit stop when travelling by highway.
