I rode around Co.Galway and Co.Mayo for 4 days on a BMW F750GS. The bike was perfect for the roads in the west of Ireland, was comfortable for all day riding and the handling was great with or without the panniers. The R335 between Leenaun and Louisburgh is a fabulous bit of road that everyone should ride at least once. Lemonrock is a well run operation and the bike was very well maintained. I hope to rent from them again.
The whole experience was great, from beginning to end. The team was generous with their time and we felt well prepared when we headed out. The bikes, the gear, and the expertise were all top notch. The garage location may be a little challenging for some cab drivers to find, but it makes getting out to the countryside extremely simple. Lemonrock is a great choice for your next adventure.
I just finished the Round Ireland Tour and am ready to do it all over again. There is so much to see in in the towns or cities, and the vistas throughout Ireland are stunning. The route provided took me on scenic roads off the beaten path, and every night, I stayed in premium hotels. Lemonrock staff were readily available and the one time I had a question about using the SatNav, they responded immediately. I would like to give a shout out to Kieran for arranging everything for me and meeting me for dinner and a beer in Killarney. I also want to thank Tom for ensuring that I had the best bike and equipment for my trip. I’m a Harley rider and this was the first time I rode a BMW 1250 GS. It was the perfect bike for the ride. Finally, I want to note that I went on the ride solo without any problem and met a lot of nice people along the way. Many people tour Ireland, but very few have an adventure tour on a motorcycle. This really is a one-of-a-kind experience.
