This resort was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Literally nestled between the ocean and the jungle - it is paradise! We saw elephants and leopards and wild boar and spotted deer and so many monkeys. The staff are incredible — so professional, making you feel safe, comfortable and committed to showing you the beauties of their country. We love Sri Lanka and we will definitely be back!! Special shout out to our ranger Damidu, our personal guide Rohan, our chef Chef Prasad, and all the restaurant serving staff ensuring we ate delicious breakfast. You guys all deserve a raise.
During our 1month family trip to Sri Lanka last June, we had an unforgettable stay at Wild Coast Tented Lodge! The lodge itself is stunning — beautifully designed to blend into nature while offering every bit of comfort and luxury. But what truly made our experience stand out was our safari guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely cared about making our game drives special. He taught us so much about the wildlife, spotted animals we never would have seen on our own, and made every moment exciting while still respecting the animals and their habitat. Thanks to him, we left not only with amazing photos but also with a much deeper appreciation for Yala’s wildlife and conservation efforts. Highly recommend this place! 🌟
An excellent place for a different experience with splendid hospitality, let it be watchmen, receptionist or the waiters. The tall safari person who took us on safari was very informative. he did his best for us to see the leopard but we couldn't. as he said we in a safari and not a zoo where you can see the animals readily. The rooms had a unique design. Everything is made in copper and classy. the rooms and the pool was cleaned on demand. The food was amazing. Moderate portions but belly full. This made us even try other food in the menu. Security wise it is safe. A watcher will be with you when ever you go out either at night or in the day if you require. remember this resort is in the middle of a jungle with no fence. Definitely would visit again.
Wowwwwww! The most beautiful and magical place! From the second we arrived the staff was so welcoming and helped us navigate to our incredible little lodge. We had many wonderful meals, the safari was one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had-the guide was so helpful and really taught us so many cool facts about animals and animal tracking. Kavi was a sweet host and really made sure we were taken care of. We loved every moment at this resort and wish we could’ve stayed longer! Also chatted with Rohan about our favorite ‘Friends’ characters which was a fun convo to have ;)
The Location is just Amazing so as the staff. Best part is the staff of the hotel they are very friendly, happy , approachable and they make you feel like home. Location it self with a private pool in the middle of the jungle is amazing. This place is jut Wow. Special thanks goes to Mr. Dilshan , Mr. Mithun & Mr. Gayan for their exceptional service. Hospitality is best so ever. One night is not enough to experience this amazing place. They even surprised us with an Anniversary Cake and they made our anniversary more special. Highly recommend this place to anyone without any doubt.
