They are really helpful here, everything is clean and they have a pretty backyard with play structures for kids. In a quiet mixed farming and upscale villas neighborhood, perfect for some peace before it after long flights.
For all of those who are traveling thru Quito and need a place to stay I HIGHLY recommend LAS MERCEDES AIRPORT QUITO HOTEL!! On my way home to Loja my airplane was grounded because of the lockdown and I made a quick reservation at this hotel. They came and picked me up for $10 (hotel is 10 minutes away from the airport) and the rooms were basic and very clean with satellite TV & warm showers. There is a community kitchen to share that looks out into a big green yard to bird watch and relax and all the staff were friendly and helpful! Don the owner speaks perfect English and is there to help every step of the way. All meals you order are about $5 and rooms are in the $35/day range. And they’re more than helpful if you want to order something in from another restaurant. All rooms come with free breakfast delivered to your room as well! I’ve stayed here almost 4 days now and am very pleased with my experience!
Very good value for price Familiar well managed hotel at 10 min from Quito airport. They organize transfer for 7 $. The hotel is modern, clean, the rooms are comfortable and not small. Bathroom perfect working and new. The breakfast is included and it's good, in a nice breakfast room with wide windows on the valley. You can order room delivered good from restaurants nearby, like good pizza or local dishes. In the garden you can see beautiful hummingbirds. I do recommend for short breaks on connecting flights
A very convenient property near the Quito airport. It was a $10 taxi ride to get here, and we found taxis to be plentiful at the airport. The hotel is in a residential neighborhood, so you may hear a rooster or two waking you up the morning. The owner is very accomodating, but it is absolutely necessary to reach out to him if your flight is arriving late in the evening. We had not done that and when we arrived, the property appeared to be closed. After a few minutes of ringing the bell of the main house, the taxi driver realized that the hotel was actually behind this building. After we resolved this, all went very smooth. The property is very clean and comfortable. A good choice if you are looking for a great value and proximity to the airport.
We needed a place close to the airport because we had a 5 am flight the next morning and needed a late check-in and a ride to tomorrowthe airport. Las Mercedes met all to requirements. They had a night manager, , Victoria, that was very helpful. The site is a couple of blocks off the town square with a separate compound. The room was modern and updated and comfortable. The shower had great consistent hot water. The hotel is approximately 12 minutes from the airport door to door.
