Embark on an unforgettable diving adventure in the Verde Island Passage, exploring the relatively undiscovered islands of Calapan, including the Tatlong Pulo Archipelago, Harka Piloto, and Anaganahao Island, where tranquil waters and pristine dive sites offer exclusivity away from the crowds. Designed for small groups with a low diver-to-guide ratio (maximum 3 divers per guide), our fully equipped safaris provide intimate wildlife encounters while minimizing environmental impact. Enjoy premium dive gear, warm face cloths, hooded poncho towels, snacks, and lunch, with tiered pricing for group bookings. Each trip is carbon-neutral and contributes to marine conservation via 1% For The Planet, ₱1000 per guest, and 100% of profits reinvested into North Mindoro Marine Protected Areas through Blue Alliance Philippines. Guided by passionate wildlife experts, divers can also earn a PADI-recognized 'Coral Reef Safari Distinctive Specialty' certification and use bespoke Ocean Wildlife Toolkits—including dive slates, guidebooks, apps, and personal Ocean Journals—to document and deepen their understanding of coral reefs, mangroves, seagrass beds, and marine wildlife, creating an immersive, educational, and conservation-focused scuba experience.

This is a diving spot like no other. Although this place does not have electricity, mobile signal, fresh water and rooms for sleeping, I can still recommend this place to divers. If you plan to visit, just be prepared with camping and diving gears. Transportation to the island from Sablayan port in Mindoro is 3 hours via boat. Visitors should wear swim-friendly clothes on the way to the reef because they can expect to get wet even prior to the scheduled diving tour as waves would enter the boat. Overall, visiting Apo Reef is an adventure to remember.

First time to visit this place and it’s truly amazing! The pure white sands doesnt hurt my feet, the spectacular coral garden, the pods of playing dolphins on our way to the nainland and the sunken WW2 Japanese vessel were the unforgettable things that I’ve encountered. The travel time is quite long but it’s worth the while. By the way there is no freshwater for bathing in the place but there is toilet and bathroom for male and female. Buy mineral water in the town proper. There are also charging station at nightime powered by generators, no internet but we’ve done a lot of exciting activities.

This destination is truly one of the best for unwinding, spending quality time with friends, disconnecting from technology (as there's no signal at all), and indulging in diving and freediving. I've visited this place three times in the past six months, and I'm still eager to return! The marine life is exceptional. I always encounter dolphins, and during my last visit, we were fortunate enough to witness turtle hatchlings. It was an incredible and heartwarming experience. 🥰 EXPLORE travel and tours consistently hosted our group during our visits. You have the option to rent a tent or bring your own hammock, but be sure to bring your camping essentials. There's no source of 100% fresh water on the island except for drinking water. Additionally, the island lacks electricity, so it's important to have your phone, cameras, and power banks fully charged for the trip. 😉 The food are already provided and the arrangements are fantastic! Everything is prepared for us, including breakfast, snacks, lunch, another snack, and dinner, along with unlimited water and brewed coffee (kapeng barako). I'm definitely planning to return to this place! See You there!!!

Apo Reef is the largest contiguous coral reef in the Philippines and second largest in the world. It is located in Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro. The reef has several dive and snorkel spots. The water was very clear and calm. To get to the island, you need to take a 2 hour boat ride from Sablayan town proper. You may opt to do the overnight trip (best for divers) or a day trip. Both will include the snorkel/dive and the island tour. On the island, you can visit the lake and climb the lighthouse. Ince you reach the top of the light house, you get to see an amazing vuew of the reef. You can also walk along the shore and stay on the white sand beach. There is no fresh water and cellular signal available. No shops on the island, too. The tours usually come with food and beverage. There is no cellular signal and electericity on the island, best to bring battery packs. (We booked the tour from Gustav's Resort in Sablayan. There are several agencies, but Gustav's was the most responsive and reasonably priced.)

A beauty to behold. Experience Island living, no power, no fresh water, no cellular signal. Camp under the starry skies and calm seas. Great beach, beautiful sunrise and sunset, great dive sites for both divers and snorklers alike. If you're lucky enough, you'll be welcomed by Dolphins following your boat!
