Thank you Jon for an excellent day with our friends visiting the wineries of McLaren Vale. We loved the boutique wineries, meeting those who make their cellar door wines, and also meeting Toast the dog. Perfect weather, good company, exhausted by the end BUT an excellent day and super value for money.

Jon was spectacular. He was very communicative in the lead up and planning to our tour and took into consideration our preferences to create an awesome bespoke itinerary. He was even flexible on the day when we asked if we could add in a winery. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area and you could tell he has very strong relationships with the wineries in the area. Our first stop was Oliver’s Taranga which had phenomenal wines and really knowledgeable staff. Shout out to Laz! Next we went to Samson’s gorge which had phenomenal views and we got to try a new wine they had just been released. Our next stop was lunch at Salopian Inn, very hearty meal which was perfect in between the wineries. The dumplings were so delicious that we ordered a second serving. Next on tour we Primo which has Italian roots. As big fans of Italian wines, we were excited for primo and it didn’t disappoint !! Next we went to Lino Ramble and met an awesome man, Bob, who runs the cellar door. What a fun time we had with him swapping Europe stories. Jon took us on a quick tour up the Adelaide hills and was such fun company. Final stop on tour was Coriole, where Bun treated us to an awesome tasting and finally we bought a bottle of wine and enjoyed the sunset and chatted with Jon. The day flew by and we were so fortunate to experience such a diverse set of wines from Mclaren due to Jons expertise of the area. We could not recommend Jon enough, he is simply fabulous and you will not be disappointed booking a tour with him! Thank you, Jon! We’ll be back!

Jon was really friendly, took care of all the little details for us and super relaxed. He has great knowledge of the area and he knows his wine. Had a lovely full day tour of McLaren Vale with Jon from My McLaren Vale Wine Tours. 2 couples on holiday in Adelaide we wanted to see the D'Arenburg cube and do some wine tasting, Jon was flexible in his schedule to add the cube. Included in cost was pick up, drop off, lunch at the Salopian Inn, any wine tasting fees and entry into the D'Arenberg Cube. Food at the Inn was delicious with share plates for 4. A drink was included with lunch but we were also able to purchase some wine. We found Jon very knowledgeable and personable. We had a great day!
