Was really fun! Can recommend it! Walking up that hill (in the photos) takes maybe max 10minutes and yes it’s exhausting but they want 50 pesos per person for driving you up which I find really unnecessary. Also, yes the helmets do smell very much!! Would be great if the team could either replace them, clean them properly and then spray them properly after every use in the future. Other than that everything was good. Team is really nice. They do take photos of you at the end and I think charge you around 150 pesos per person or something like that…

We did the El Nido Zipline and really enjoyed it overall — the views were absolutely stunning, soaring over the ocean with a perfect view of the islands. It’s definitely a memorable way to experience El Nido. We arrived around 3 PM and were told we were the last ones accepted, even though the closing time is officially 5 PM. It didn’t look busy at all when we got there, but we still waited almost 2 hours for our turn. Be prepared for a wait, even if the queue looks fairly short. Another thing to note: you will likely get stuck partway across the zipline — it’s normal! The staff will retrieve you from the other end, so there’s no need to panic, but it can catch you off guard. At that section they will take photos of you and charge you 150 pesos per person which is worth it. The walk back to the parking area is also steep, slippery, and uneven in places, so wear proper shoes and take your time, especially after the ride. Overall, the experience was worth it for the incredible views and the thrill, just be ready for a bit of a wait and a challenging walk afterward.

Fun experience, not as scary/thrilling as I thought it would be! Cons: Insane hill to walk up, like it almost feels dangerous. Once you’re up there, that’s when they tell you how long you might be waiting your turn. We had 8-10 people ahead of us and the wait was 20-30 minutes. More cons: you can currently zip line to the island, but not back, so you have to walk back from the island. That sounds easy BUT it’s quite a muddy descent, very slippery and not well marked. Also if it’s high tide then you have to wade in water, and it’s not sandy, it’s rocky and slippery. Overall I don’t think it was worth the effort.

Fun activity to do whilst in El Nido and pretty cheap for a zipline (600 pesos). Can get a trike for 150 from el nido town. You can bike yourself but be aware you won’t be able to get up the last 100m as it’s steep. You can walk up or pay someone 50 pesos to bike yourself up. You get great views whilst going down the zipline. Try to go when there are blue skies as it is much nicer. We heard it gets busy so we got there at 8.50 and we got tickets 72/73. They officially open at 8.30 but people get there as early as 7am. They only sell 100 tickets (not sure if this is just the morning or all day) and it says registration shuts at 10am but we saw a few stragglers after this. They also shut from 12-1 for lunch. We waited for around 1.5 hours and did the zipline at 10.30am. Be aware the climb down from the other end can be slippy if wet and you walk across a sandbar that is usually high tide. I’m 172cm and the water was up to my upper thigh. Potentially bring a dry bag but don’t leave anything at the tickets office or it will be a ball ache to go back up the hill to retrieve after. Knocking a star as the booking system is shite but it’s fun overall.
