Excellent tour booked through the viator for half a day Douro Valley, highly recommended. A six-hour, half-day tour is perfect. Meeting at 9am, you are taken on the comfy bus to Douro Valley, a place with beautiful nature, river, mountains with trees, great air, etc. You take pictures on the way to the wine museum where you taste wine and get a tour of the winemaking process. After you are taken to the beautiful town for the power lunch with appetizers, different types of fish, dessert, port wine, and even grappa. On the way back you go through picturesque towns next to the Douro Valley. Our tour guide Alexandre was amazing, overall great customer service and superb experience. If you are in Porto you will not be disappointed by trying this tour!

Did the Aveiro with moliciero boat and coimbra tour with Chris as our tour guide. I must say he was very professional and knowledgeable. He have the best recommendations for lunch. We bonded over our love of travel and food! My Girlfriend and I absolutely loved this tour and would recommend him and this tour group any day! Thank you for a memorable trip

Family of 3 adults, based in the U.S. but multicultural multilingual family. The trips we booked: 1. Porto to Lisbon Up to 4 Stops: Aveiro, Costa Nova, Fatima & Obidos 2. National Palace of Pena in Sintra José was a fantastic guide who went above and beyond to give us an informative, fun, and exciting tour over the course of 2 days! José’s energy kept us enthusiastic! We appreciated the intentionality and care of his hospitality and his expert guidance on food, specific sights, and safety tips. I would recommend this tour and asking for José to be your guide specifically. We loved how easy it was to travel privately and have an intimate experience. The vehicle on the first day was a large van with spacious seats, charging ports, temp control and tinted windows. The vehicle on the second day was a luxury sedan with comfortable leather seats, USB-C charging ports and air conditioning. Luxury experience on a reasonable budget is a win! José provided me and my family with sights we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. We visited Sintra, Costa Nova, Aveiro, Fátima & Obídos. He knew folks at every site, which added a local touch, and made the site more real to us by connecting with the locals. One of the most special moments was lunch on the water at the restaurant, Ostraveiro. José gave us the ultimate experience of dining on the water with the most fresh oysters and delicious Portuguese Vinho Verde or green wine. Strongly recommend you use José for a memorable experience!
