We did a tour to Douro Valley today with the whole family (4 kids included) and had an amazing time! Our guides Dalia and Thiago were very knowledgeable and friendly, making the experience very comfortable and exciting for all. They adapted to making everything in French and having a tasting and activities for the kids. We recommend it with no doubt!

The Portoalities Douro Valley Wine Tour was an amazing day of overall experiences. The day started with meeting our charming local guide JP Castro. Castro was our driver, guide, historian and entertainer for our tour. We experienced a very small, traditional family vineyard with lovely wine and setting. We carried on to more wine tasting, a lovely boat ride on the Douro River and then an memorable lunch in a small village restaurant. The meal was prepared by the local owner with locally sourced ingredients. The tour finished with a visit to a winery producing delicious ports. Overall we had a lovely day of gastro experiences with Castro, our wonderful guide and we would highly recommend the tour to friends and family. Sherry Oct 2025
What a fantastic day and tour. Can't recommend this tour enough. Our tour guide, Sophia Goncalves was superb! Friendly, knowledgeable, accomodating, we can't praise her enough. Her people skills meant that after a few minutes we felt we had known her for years. The visits to the Quinta's were fun and informative - but we need to also highlight the wonderful lunch provided.
