Reserved a day pass and while on a cruise stop in Roatan. The island was amazing with tranquil views and plenty to do. Service was incredible, food was very tasty. Wilson took care of the drinks for me. It’s a great place for any demographic. Simply gorgeous.

There front desk clerks all of them need a good customer service training. They don’t have available WiFi in all the rooms, the restrooms in the lobby are barely clean and the toilet seat are smaller than the toilet! Smh i don’t recommend it because you will not get the service you expect. You will be carrying your own baggage to your room. The only great thing about this place is the beach 🏖️

If you’re going to be diving all day everyday it’s a good spot. Don’t expect fine dining and luxury suites tho. The place is old and outdated AC works tho. You get less and less towels over your stay. The buffet is less than desirable. I was thankful to go out on Thursday to eat and find a papa John’s on Friday. The beaches are great and water is beautiful. All in all the place is for locals. Not really tailored for people that travel regularly.

Stayed there 3 days last week with over 20 of my wife’s family members. I don’t see why this place has so many bad reviews….. the beach itself is worth every penny. From someone who’s been to multiple resorts in Roatán, most beaches have multiple people coming up to you and bugging you trying to sell you something while you’re trying to enjoy yourself, and security guards usually patrol the beach with machine guns. This place, being a restricted private island has none of that. There was some construction going on so you do hear some hammering and sawing every so often….. so bring a Bluetooth speaker if that noise bothers you. They also have free kayaks to use, pool tables to play, and a lot of other activities to keep you occupied. They also have a pier you can go snorkeling off of with lots of tropical fish to see….. so bring your snorkel and goggles unless you want to rent a pair. The rooms we booked were the least expensive since we had so many people staying, and they were nothing to brag about, but they were clean and the beds were comfortable. Who goes to a beach resort to hang out in the rooms anyway. The overall experience was great, my only complaint is it seems like the food staff and at least 1 of the chefs were not trained on possible food allergies. I have celiac disease so I have to be gluten free. One of that chefs was great…. He knew all about it and cooked my food separate from everything else and brought it out to me. The other chef was unsure, but thankfully my wife explained everything and I was good after that.

Beautiful Beach, Disappointing Food & Drinks The beach here is absolutely stunning—huge, with plenty of open seating, including oversized beds right on the sand (we visited on a non–cruise ship day). We purchased the $60 per person day pass, which included access to a beach lounger or bed, plus all-you-can-eat food and drinks. Beer options were limited to Gallo, Gallo Light, and something called Ice. We were disappointed there were no local options like Salva Vida. The liquor offered was very cheap vodka and tequila. Frozen drinks were available, but I didn’t try them. There was no beachside service the day we visited, so we had to get our own drinks—not a huge issue, but if you want a quieter spot away from the crowd, it could be inconvenient. The food was a buffet similar to cruise ship fare, but honestly worse than any buffet I’ve had. That was the biggest letdown. Back to the positives: the beach itself is truly beautiful—clean (aside from some guest litter), breezy (it’s on the south shore), and the lagoon and surrounding water are gorgeous. I really can’t say enough about the setting. If Fantasy Island offered a beach-only pass without the food and drinks, we’d return every time we're on the island. But at $60, the food and drink package just isn’t worth it. A $20 beach-only pass would be a much better value!
