We had a great time at the workshop! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, there are a lot of professional tools, and you actually get to make it all by yourself! I myself made a lamp, but they have MANY different options to choose from. The workshop is great for all levels and ages. Highly recommended!
We had an amazing experience at Taboo Bamboo in Hoi An! The bamboo workshop was one of the highlights of our trip – creative, fun, and truly unique. The instructor was kind, patient, and full of energy, guiding us step by step as we learned different techniques and created our own bamboo pieces. It’s a perfect activity for both adults and kids, combining culture, creativity, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something authentic and special in Hoi An!
The class is great! they trust you to work with the machines and tools after a little guidance so it's great in case you want independence. If not, they will help you but it might take some time since there were 3-4 workers for about 10 people in my case. In the end, they will help you to make it look professional and beautiful if small corrections are needed :) The workshop is truly beautiful, everything there is made of bamboo and the owner is 3rd generation of bamboo crafting. Have fun!
Everyone were nice! It was a great experience and I enjoyed a lot! Around the end of the official time that the workshop was supposed to be done I felt like they were pressuring me to finish even though they were patient until that moment. At the end one of the workers there helped me and that way we finished faster. Overall- I enjoyed a lot and I recommend!
Wow, it was an amazing workshop! I highly recommend it. We were celebrating our daughter’s birthday with her friends at the workshop. Everyone really enjoyed it — both the kids and the adults. Tan, his wife, and the team were friendly, kind, and very professional. We were a group of 15 participants (10 children and five adults), and we all felt closely supported and assisted throughout the entire workshop thanks to the wonderful and caring staff. The creations we all made were truly beautiful. We learned a lot about bamboo and different ways to create and work with this fascinating material. Thank you so much! 🙏🏻❤️
