Be prepared with your documents, The most important of which is your passport. The employees are a hardened group, but they have to take a lot of hardship every day. Everyone goes to see the incredible Acropolis site and the people who work there are constrained by rules and what seems to be tourist fatigue.

Not helpful at all. If you don't know about the pre-sale online and slots, but simply come wishing to buy tickets on site, you end-up with closed office already by 1pm! Although internet says they are open till 5pm. We didn't know if our daughter's disability ID would be accepted, so we thought it's better to ask on site.

I really hope this review can help more people with accessibility needs. Please be aware if you need an elevator or a wheel chair to go up the Acropolis. 0030 2103 210 219 to check if the elevator is working. Apparently on some days it doesn’t work since it needs a staff to manually operate it. I visited it with a crutch and the answer I got on the day was ‘it’s working now but I’m not sure about later.’ Thankfully the staff on the phone was super helpful and assisted my entry through the disability access later on. At the ticket office, heard another lady checking about borrowing an onsite wheelchair. Despite what the website guaranteed, there weren’t any. So please please call them and double check your needs to avoid disappointment. Prebook your tickets online as well. The Acropolis itself is stunning and definitely worth the effort.

Even you have already bought your ticket online or any other way you have to wait right under the direction sunlight for this over-rated ancient ruins construction site.

Our day trip was terrific! Lydia, our guide was lovely, so informed and eager to share history and details, painting an amazing picture of Athens! She knew so many details, names, dates, places, it was a great experience.

Excellent, separate guide on Akropolis. Book trip especially for Akropolis and Olympic stadium. That means to ENTER the stadium, just as we enter Akropolis. Parking the bus and looking at the stadium from outside a fence does not equate to visiting the stadium.

You have two choices to get a ticket, 1 wait a long line in the sun, for the office to get their service. 2 ticket vending machine that will mislead you to buy the wrong ticket. Either way you won't get support, I bought the wrong ticket for EU country elders and they wouldn't let me in, on top of that the office didn't let me change the ticket and basically told me and my friends to discard 15 euro away. Super unfair, and really rude and unwilling staff members, claiming that they are not responsible for the machines. The phone support didn't help either. Adding a screenshot of the misleading ticket description. | Stands for OR (global sign) & Stands for AND
