Fantastic! Cecilia was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide and showed us around some less-visited and very tranquil neighbourhoods. We saw some great street art and learned a lot. Highly recommended!

Day one in Buenos Aires was fantastic, thanks to our amazing street art tour led by our outstanding guide, Cecilia. We loved the murals and other art shared on the tour and appreciated learning about the artists and the history of the murals. It was also a beautiful day and we saw gorgeous flowers blooming and even a smile of leaves!

Matt was an excellent guide! We enjoyed learning not only about the art, but some Argentinian history and current events. We got to meet one of the artists and learn more about his installation. Highly recommend this tour if you’re needing a break from the hustle and bustle of Palermo and the other very touristy spots.

Wife and I had a blast on this tour today with Matt! His passion and knowledge of street art clearly shows. It was great discovering the reasons for street art and what inspires these artists. Highly recommend this fun tour!

Matt’s BA Street Art Tour has been my FAVOURITE walking tour in Buenos Aires (I’ve also done the La Boca tour, San Telmo tour and the City Center tour). First off, Matt himself is an epic host and guide. He is incredibly knowledgeable and informative about the art murals, explaining the symbols and meanings in a way that is interesting and fun, but without overwhelming us, without getting too “flowery” or preachy or political, and not at all boring! Because he himself also started the project of connecting artists with wall spaces to paint, he also had a lot of interesting information about the artists themselves, and the history of street art in Buenos Aires. Matt is from England but has now lived in BA for several years so he has the inside scoop and local knowledge while still being completely easy to understand for us foreigners still trying to train our ear to Argentine accents! It was a really nice change of pace to have an English guide I had no trouble understanding! Matt was friendly and charming, asked us interesting questions during the tour to get us thinking about the art from different perspectives and also welcomed questions of our own. Another thing I loved about this tour was that it was in an area that tourists typically don’t go to or get to see - yet still very safe - so it was excellent way to see more of BA. In fact, even some locals expressed respect that we were outside of the touristy area and invited the whole tour group to their place for a community asado (argentine bbq)! But of course, the street art itself was spectacular and soooo interesting to see and learn about. Now that I’ve had this introduction to the street art here, I’ll absolutely be looking at all future street art in a different, more enjoyable, more knowledgeable, and more comprehensive way. And Matt was kind enough to also give tips and suggestions for where to go to see street art in other locations throughout BA - as well as great restaurant suggestions too. I just can’t recommend this tour enough! If you have time for only one tour…this would be the one I recommend! Thanks so much Matt, and thank you to all the amazing artists and supporters of the BA street art tour! Shannon Rose Scott
