Discover the beauty of the night sky while learning about stars, planets, and distant celestial objects.
Journey through the cosmos as your astronomer introduces you to constellations, planetary movements, and stellar navigation. Observe stunning planets, star clusters, and colourful nebulae through powerful telescopes. If conditions are favourable, you may even witness passing satellites and shooting stars while gaining a deeper appreciation of the universe.
Your experience begins on the Imperial Deck at Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center in Breckenridge. Enjoy panoramic mountain views, a beautiful sunset, and the possibility of spotting local wildlife or a horse drawn carriage passing nearby. The convenient meeting location offers easy access without requiring any hiking.
As darkness settles over the mountains, relax and enjoy an engaging astronomy experience suitable for curious visitors and passionate stargazers alike. Red flashlights are provided to help preserve your night vision while observing the sky. Dress warmly and bring your questions, as the mountain air can become chilly after sunset. Please note that cloudy weather may result in tour cancellations.
