Explore the natural beauty of Pisgah National Forest on a guided eBike adventure along Forest Road 475. Starting near the John Rock Trailhead, follow the scenic Davidson River corridor through lush woodland, moss covered rocks, and peaceful mountain landscapes connected to the traditional hunting and gathering practices of Cherokee communities.

Ride beside historic stream beds where Cherokee families gathered natural resources, fished mountain creeks, and established seasonal camps. Along the way, your guide introduces the region’s cultural heritage and traditional uses of native plants, offering a fascinating glimpse into the relationship between Indigenous communities and the surrounding environment.

Cross Cove Creek Bridge and continue along a smooth gravel route surrounded by vibrant greenery. Discover nearby waterfall trails and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the forest. At Daniel Ridge Falls, also known as Tom’s Spring Falls, take a short walk to admire the impressive cascading water and capture memorable photographs.

After enjoying the waterfall views and a refreshing break, return by eBike along the mostly downhill route to the trailhead. This experience lasts approximately two to two and a half hours and is suitable for riders aged sixteen and older who can operate a bicycle independently. Bike fitting, helmets, and a safety briefing help ensure a comfortable journey.
