Since 1847, Milwaukee has been known for its strong drinking culture and neighborhood taverns. Travel between the historic locations by bus and spend approximately 30 minutes at each stop. Along the way, listen to entertaining stories about Milwaukee’s taverns and the people, traditions and events that shaped them. The relaxed pace allows guests to enjoy drinks, snacks and conversation while discovering another side of the city’s history.
The tour features two six ounce beers and two six ounce alcoholic drinks, giving guests an opportunity to sample beverages while exploring Milwaukee’s bar culture. Traditional German pretzels and an assortment of meats and cheeses are also served during the experience. Transportation and narration make it easy to travel between the featured historic establishments.
Only minimal walking is required, although guests must use a few stairs when getting on and off the bus. The tour is not wheelchair accessible. Seafood and shellfish are not served, and vegetarian options are available. Other food allergies, dietary restrictions and preferences cannot be accommodated on this tour.
