Milos Coastal Kayaking Adventure

A four hour kayaking adventure from Agia Kyriaki offers travelers an exciting way to discover the southern coastline of Milos. The tour is especially suitable when strong northern winds make other coastal areas less comfortable. After meeting at the beach, participants receive a short safety briefing before preparing their kayaks and equipment. The journey then begins along the beautiful coastline, where dramatic volcanic landscapes and clear blue waters create an unforgettable setting.

Paddling along the southern coast reveals impressive rock formations, hidden caves and peaceful stretches of shoreline that are difficult to appreciate from land. The route combines outdoor activity with opportunities to discover the natural character of Milos. Experienced local guides share their knowledge of the island and help participants explore small caves, coastal corners and scenic areas along the route. The calm waters also create excellent conditions for enjoying the surrounding landscape.

One of the main highlights is Gerakas beach, known for its striking white volcanic slopes created by the ancient volcanic activity of Trachylas. Travelers can enjoy a relaxing swim break here for around one hour. The crystal clear water is ideal for snorkeling and observing the underwater surroundings. During the break, guests can also relax in the sunshine and enjoy a small Greek snack while taking in the peaceful scenery.

The experience ends with a paddle back toward Agia Kyriaki at around 1 pm. Double kayaks with rudders make steering easier, while life jackets, paddles and dry bags are supplied for the journey. Cold water, snorkeling equipment and GoPro photos and videos are also part of the experience. Travelers should arrive slightly early at the beach near the kayaks or trailer and bring suitable clothing for getting wet.
