The experience is especially welcoming to first time riders, with most guests having little or no previous horseback riding experience. Safety remains a priority throughout the ride, with the pace and route adjusted according to the least experienced riders ability and comfort.
Children must be at least eight years old to participate in a trail ride. Inexperienced children under twelve may need to be connected to a trail guide throughout the ride unless they already have enough experience to steer and stop their horse or pony. A twenty five dollar ponying fee applies when required.
