Bratislava Vienna Beer Tasting Tour

Bratislava and Vienna are two of the closest capital cities in Europe. Both destinations share deep historical connections and important links to the Austro Hungarian era. Bratislava was once the capital of the Hungarian Kingdom, while Vienna served as the capital of the Austrian Kingdom. This shared history makes the journey between the two cities an interesting cultural experience.

The journey begins at Vienna Hauptbahnhof Bus Station, where the bus departs from bus stop C1 at 9 50 AM. The bus arrives at Bratislava Most SNP bus stop at 11 20 AM. After arrival, enjoy free time until noon before meeting the professional guide at the main entrance of Park Inn by Radisson Danube Hotel. The meeting point is only 250 meters from the bus stop.

The one hour walking tour explores the historic center of Bratislava and its important landmarks. Discover St Martins Cathedral, Slovak National Theater, Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra Reduta and the Man at Work Statue. Continue through Main Square, Roland Fountain, the Napoleonic soldier statue and Old Town Hall. The route also visits Franciscan Church, St Michaels Gate and Trinity Church.

After sightseeing, enjoy a traditional two course local lunch at a restaurant, with drinks available separately. Vegetarian meals can be arranged with advance notice. At 2 30 PM, continue to SLADOVNA House of Beer microbrewery for a local craft beer tasting. Enjoy three beer samples served with a pretzel. Afterward, spend free time exploring Bratislava before returning by bus at 6 08 PM. Arrival in Vienna is scheduled for 7 25 PM.
