In August, I rented a catamaran from Arctic Princess, a company that owns three catamarans. Pros: The marina in Tromsø is in a very convenient location. It’s a quiet harbor, easy to dock and depart from. Nearby you can find everything you need—shops to buy groceries, and even a sauna. We went on a seven-day trip, and the nature around was absolutely stunning: beautiful and impressive. I would love to return to discover new routes and go fishing. Cons: Unfortunately, the catamaran we got was very worn out. It looked “beaten up,” it was dirty inside and hadn’t been cleaned. Some of the equipment didn’t work, and there was no heating at all—we were cold throughout the trip. Honestly, this was one of the worst catamarans I have ever used. It’s worth noting that the company also has two other catamarans that look much nicer and well-maintained. So if you decide to rent from Arctic Princess, I recommend choosing one of the other boats.

Wonderful night with much insight into everything Northern lights. The boat was beautiful.. many opportunities for photos and flexibility of departure enabled maximum time to see the Northern Lights. Thankyou Kurt and crew .. we had a wonderful experience.

Recommend! Look no further! Did a Midnight Sun cruise with Arctic Cruises for my 50th birthday. In fact, this cruise was the inspiration for the 4 days we spent in Tromsø. I brought along 4 very special people with me to celebrate - We all loved it! Firstly, they did an amazing job of accommodating us as a small group celebrating while respecting other guests. The boat was beautiful and the cruise was stunning - but our captain, Luca, was the highlight by far. A lot of fun, great nature. He made some great recommendations for other things to do which turned out to be other brilliant experiences. So grateful. Hope to return in winter to see the northern lights.

We had a n absolutely incredible trip on Artic Queen and Artic Princess sailing and skiing the Norwegian Sea and Lyngen Alps. Our group of 15( + two ski guides and 2 skippers) did it all, we skinned, skied, sailed, fished, found saunas, plunged in the ocean and had a wonderful week with Artic Cruise. They are very accommodation and service minded to make everyone safe and comfortable

We just completed a fjord tour where we got to see 3 amazing fjords! We couldn't have hoped for more - Kurt was friendly, authentic and knowledgeable about his town. He lives and breathes Tromso and Norwegian nature and we were very lucky to share a few hours together. Amazing scenery and views along the route, and grateful for Kurt's service, flexibility and open mind!
