Your experience begins at the dive center with a welcome session paperwork and an introduction to your instructor. You will learn basic safety rules underwater communication and equipment handling before getting fitted with your diving gear. The instructor explains everything clearly so you can become comfortable before entering the water.
After a short transfer to a calm beginner friendly beach location you will practise breathing and basic diving skills in shallow water. Once you feel comfortable you will take part in a guided open water dive with your instructor. The dive can reach depths of up to 12 metres while giving you the chance to observe Tenerife marine life.
The activity lasts approximately three or five hours depending on the selected option and requires no previous diving experience. After returning to the dive center you can log your dive and discuss your experience with the instructor. The activity is suitable for participants aged 10 and above and is available in several languages.
