Los Cristianos offers an intensive two day Rescue Diver course for divers looking to strengthen their emergency response and rescue skills. Meeting at Av Juan Carlos I 24 in Los Cristianos, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the course focuses on recognizing diver stress, preventing accidents and responding effectively when emergencies occur underwater.
The SSI Diver Stress and Rescue specialty combines classroom learning with pool and open water practice. Participants work through realistic situations that help them understand how to anticipate potential problems and respond with confidence. The training also covers rescue procedures, emergency care and techniques for assisting divers in distress.
During the course, divers develop practical skills for managing underwater emergencies and supporting other divers when assistance is needed. Training includes first aid and oxygen related emergency procedures, helping participants become more prepared for challenging situations. Successful completion leads to an SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty certification.
The two day course is available for participants aged 10 and above and costs from 311.54 euros. Dive equipment, a dive computer, course materials and certification fees are included. The course is offered in Spanish, English, German, Italian and Portuguese. Participants must already hold First Aid and Oxygen Provider Certification before starting the course.
