Begin your scuba diving journey with an SSI Open Water Diver course in Los Cristianos Tenerife. Designed for beginners, this three day program combines dive theory equipment training underwater communication and practical diving sessions. The course includes classroom learning equipment handling and confined water practice before participants complete five ocean dives. Tenerife offers an exciting setting for learning with volcanic dive sites and colorful underwater reefs. Small group instruction allows participants to receive focused guidance while developing confidence and essential diving skills.
Successful completion of the program earns an internationally recognized SSI Open Water Diver certification. Certified divers can dive to depths of up to 18 metres according to the certification limits. Instruction is available in German English Spanish and Portuguese, making the course accessible to a wide range of international visitors.
Participants need basic swimming ability and must complete a medical questionnaire before diving. The program includes required diving equipment digital learning materials insurance and transport. Participants cannot fly for at least 18 hours after diving. Dive locations and schedules may change because of weather or sea conditions and marine life sightings are not guaranteed.
