An alternative route adds another 5.5 kilometers and leads to the Rothenhusen ferry house on Lake Ratzeburg. This option also passes the free living rhea population near Utecht, offering an unusual wildlife sight during the countryside ride.
The tour costs 59 euros per person with an e bike, or 49 euros for guests using their own e bike. A 6 percent online system fee applies. Tours run daily at 2 pm, with individual start times available upon request. Children must be at least 155 centimeters tall and able to ride the bikes, while guests under 18 need a parent or guardian.
