The Island of Ons sits within the Maritime Terrestrial National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia, offering visitors a protected coastal setting filled with beaches, trails and natural landscapes. The experience begins with a boat journey from the port of origin to the island.
The journey takes approximately 40 to 45 minutes before landing on Ons Island. Visitors can explore four circular trails, discover iconic beaches and enjoy viewpoints overlooking the estuary and Atlantic Ocean. The island also features the Ons Lighthouse, historic buildings and Romanized Celtic hill forts.
During the off season, accredited National Park guides accompany visitors on guided tours, while free time is also available. During peak season, guided tours are not included unless specially requested. National Park permits and visitor spaces are limited during both periods.
Passengers must arrive at the customer service point at least 30 minutes before departure. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and all National Park regulations must be followed. Vehicles and bicycles are not permitted without authorization, while marked trails must be respected.
