Early-Morning Nature Walk in Kennebunkport

Explore a variety of natural landscapes, including forests, meadows, brooks, and vernal pools, while watching nature come alive at dawn. Birds, butterflies, and woodland creatures create a lively soundtrack as the morning begins.
The tranquil setting offers a refreshing escape into nature, with salty ocean air from nearby Goose Rocks Beach adding to the experience. Just minutes from the coast, the preserve provides a wonderful combination of woodland scenery and fresh Maine air. The trail difficulty ranges from easy to moderate, with no age restrictions and a maximum group size of ten guests. Dogs are welcome on the trails when leashed or under voice command, and a gated dog park is also available.
The walk takes place daily from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Guests should wear comfortable weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy closed-toe footwear, as trails may be muddy or wet. Bug spray, sunscreen, and at least one water bottle are recommended. Strollers are not permitted. The meeting point is at 406 Mills Road in Kennebunkport, off Route 9, near Goose Rocks Beach.
