My group of 8 took a private craft beer tour with Marloes at the end of October and had a great time. She was easy to communicate with via whatsapp and email, on time, engaging and educational, and chose great brews for us to try. I didn’t think it possible but she even chose some beers that the beer haters enjoyed. The pizza we had for dinner was phenomenal too! We can’t wait to take this same tour with Marloes again, and also try one of her other offerings on our next visit to Rome. Don’t hesitate to book!

This is nothing like a 'if you look to your right, you see nothing on your left' kind of tour. It's quality over quantity. ViniCultural Tours offers amazing small group or private tours for those who, like me, are as passionate about the Italian food and wine culture and its history as the Italians themselves. Though their tours are not limited to just that: they offer Italian beer tours and customized tours too, for example. I can highly recommend ViniCultural Tours to everybody, it will most definitely add that little something extra to your stay in Italy!

We took the Craft Beer tour in March 2016 - apparently it was the first tour of the season, lucky us! We started off in a local store sampling a selection of craft beers from Italian breweries - the store itself is pretty impressive. Home brewing is apparently a popular hobby in Rome! Our guide talked us through tasting each beer and explained the techniques and ingredients that go into producing each style of beer. After this the tour moved on to a couple of different bars/restaurants to explore pairing different styles of beer with local food and sample a wide variety of Italian beers. I can't recommend the tour highly enough - we would love to be able to find something like this in every city that we visit! Huge thanks to our tour guide - this was the first thing we did immediately after arriving in Rome and it really set a great tone for the whole trip.

So happy I found Vinicultural Tours through Winerist & Liv Italy! Our tourguide (and owner) John Penante made us all feel welcome! We had a small fun intimate group and John took us on a short walk to a beautiful local restaurant. What a fun combo of wine history/information and wine pairings! We tasted several great wines & the restaurant also served up delicious noshes including cheese and prosciutto. We then took a short walk to another one of John's favorite restaurants and tried out more delicious wines and entrees. Any overall amazing tour! I definitely recommend any and all adventures from ViniCultural Tours!

My husband and I love experiencing new places through our mouths/stomachs, so I thought the tour would be a perfect way to get introduced to Italy's incredible craft beer scene. The tour was the perfect balance of beer, food, science, and Italian history/culture. We started at a craft beer/homebrewing store and tried three lighter lagers in the back room, moved on via cab to have some roman pasta paired nicely with two unfiltered saisons, and then finished with a flight of five beers (of our choosing) at a popular spot near Trastevere. Jill was a great tour guide and great company for the evening -- she even forgave us for being a bit late finding the meeting spot. I'd highly recommend this tour if you have even a small interest in craft beer.
