Junior Wildlife Keeper
Step into the world of wildlife care through an engaging Junior Wildlife Keeper experience designed for children aged five to sixteen. The two and a half hour program offers an introduction to the daily responsibilities involved in caring for unique animals.
Participants take part in hands on keeper activities including feeding cleaning preparing enrichment and monitoring animals. These tasks help children understand the care required to keep animals healthy while developing awareness of animal wellbeing.
The program also teaches children about enrichment and how it encourages natural animal behaviours. Participants can observe the remarkable skills animals have developed to live successfully within their environment.
The session runs from 9am to 11 30am and follows a drop and go format. Participants going behind the scenes must wear the required special tshirt. No two days are the same making each experience different and educational.
