Taughannock Falls Lake and Land Tour
Enjoy a unique four hour Finger Lakes experience combining a scenic lake cruise with time at Taughannock Falls State Park. The tour begins at Allan H Treman Marina and includes narrated cruising, optional hiking, educational activities, and time to enjoy the park.
The experience starts with a one hour narrated cruise toward Taughannock Falls State Park. After arriving, guests can hike approximately two miles to the waterfall on their own or with a New York State Park environmental educator. Guests may also relax at the park, visit the playground, or enjoy the swim area.
After exploring the park, guests return to the boat for lunch and another hour of cruising back to the marina. Narrators and young interns share information about the human and natural history of the lake and offer hands on activities suitable for children and adults.
Lunch can be ordered in advance for 10 dollars and includes a turkey or ham wrap with chips or a veggie burger with chips. Seltzers are available for 1 dollar on the boat. Guests are encouraged to bring a reusable full water bottle and choose their preferred park activities during reservation.
