The Summer Train offers a relaxing scenic journey through the beautiful Hood River Valley on select days from June through August. Guests can enjoy the natural beauty of the Northwest while traveling alongside forests, orchards, vineyards, and the Hood River.
The approximately two and a half to three hour experience includes a 45 minute outbound journey followed by a 45 minute layover. During the stop, guests can visit The Fruit Company and Mount Hood Winery or relax at picnic tables while enjoying mountain views.
Guests can choose from VIP, Premium, Parlor, and Standard seating options. VIP guests enjoy a luxury car, private bartender, lounge space, booth seating, and complimentary refreshments. Premium and Parlor seating offer tables, while Standard seating features booth style bench seating.
Guests should arrive at least 45 minutes before departure for parking, ticket collection, and pre boarding. Parlor seating accommodates wheelchairs, with a 27 inch width limit. Pets are not allowed, and outside alcohol cannot be brought onto the train.
