As a Level 2 program, the camp is built for young participants who are ready to develop their abilities further while enjoying an active and engaging outdoor environment.
Adventure Camp is a natural progression from Discovery Camp, giving participants the opportunity to build on skills they have already learned. Through a combination of drills, games and practical scenarios, children can challenge themselves, explore new techniques and become more confident with their paddling abilities.
The program is designed for children aged 10 to 14 who have a determined desire to learn and are ready to extend their boundaries. The activities create opportunities to learn through practice while keeping the experience enjoyable, active and suitable for young adventurers with previous paddling experience.
The five day camp takes place at 1701 Clackamette Drive in Oregon City. Participants should be prepared for outdoor activities and changing conditions throughout the program. Bring water, sunscreen, lunch, snacks, clothing that can get wet, a towel and a change of clothes for afterwards.
