We provide top-quality Mares scuba gear, all professionally maintained to ensure safe, reliable, and comfortable diving. Our favorite dive sites include the famous Prince Albert Wreck and Wall Dive, where a 140-foot sunken tanker rests beside a colorful reef wall; Mr. Bud Wreck Dive, nestled in our very own backyard and perfect for easy exploration; and the visually stunning Wall Dive, where vibrant coral formations thrive in the clear, sunlit water. For experienced divers, Mary’s Place offers a truly unforgettable journey through narrow crevices lined with black coral and sponges. As an experienced diver I look for shops that offer small groups of matched skills, capable DMs, Nitrox in house, and have a smooth operation. I’m a repeat at Roatan Divers and will always be. Peter’s skill in and out of the water is beyond any other recreational dive masters I’ve dove with anywhere and his night dive briefing on all the things to look for was incredibly informative. He was detailed, has a great attitude, taught me a lot about the local environment, and I really enjoy diving with him. Yvonne’s eye for safety and thoroughness is fantastic and empowers divers to take care of themselves while also knowing she’s looking out for them. And Dani’s flexibility and relaxed style is low pressure and fun. Note that I didn’t dive with Lukas this trip, otherwise would have said many great things about him too. Boats and equipment are well maintained, office staff is helpful and detail oriented. Overall fantastic experience every trip.
Roatan Divers was an unforgettable experience, the best dive shop I have ever dove with, they were intuitive, flexible, and professional. Roatan Divers is an absolute gem and deserves every one of its five stars! My recent trip was nothing short of incredible, and it's all thanks to the amazing team there. From the moment I arrived, everyone was so welcoming and professional. The dive masters (Dani, Cecilia, and Anastasia) were not only incredibly knowledgeable about every site but also made safety a top priority while keeping the atmosphere fun and relaxed. The diving itself was spectacular. The reefs are vibrant and healthy, teeming with a diverse array of marine life. I saw everything from turtles and eagle rays to countless colorful reef fish. The boats were well-maintained, fast, and comfortable, and the gear was in perfect condition. It’s clear that this crew is passionate about what they do and dedicated to giving their guests the best possible experience. I can’t wait to go back!
My daughter and I were recently on a cruise and really wanted to do a Discovery Dive. We initially had thought about booking directly through our cruise, but I decided to do some research of local dive shops in Roatan to find the best experience. I am SO glad we booked on our own. Communication beforehand was clear and thorough. I felt extremely confident with everything leading up to the dive. We had a driver meet us at the port and bring us straight to the shop. Yvonne was our instructor, and she was the BEST! My daughter and I were the only ones on our dive, so it was like our own private experience (other certified divers went out with us on the boat, but went to a separate site). She was so patient with teaching us and making us feel comfortable, especially with it being our first dive. We did also use Bruno for his photos and…WOW! His photos are like works of art. He got so many amazing shots that we couldn’t have captured. He truly is a master! Our experience was SO positive, and everyone we encountered at Roatan Divers was amazing. I now want to get fully certified and return in the future for more diving experiences!

What really stood out was how invested they were in our progress. Whether you’re just testing the waters or pursuing your PADI certification, they make sure you understand the skills, feel safe, and most importantly—have fun. We had such a great experience doing the discovery dive that we moved our flight so I could complete my open water certification! The shop squeezed us in last minute and it all worked out perfect.
