Ride Through Gettysburgs Historic Battlefield

The ride takes you past the Virginia Monument, battlefield cannons, Spangler Farm, and Pickett’s Charge. Continue toward the Pennsylvania Monument, Little Round Top, and Big Round Top while learning about the important events connected to each location.
Riders must be at least seven years old and weigh no more than two hundred fifty pounds. Participants should be in reasonably good health and able to mount a horse. Open toed shoes are not permitted, and long pants are recommended.
Riders ages seven through seventeen must wear helmets, which are provided. Following Park Service rules, the tour backtracks to McMillan Woods Campgrounds, completing a memorable horseback journey through Gettysburg’s historic battlefield.
