Private Culebra Island Boat Excursion from Fajardo

Set sail from Marina Sunbay in Fajardo for a private Culebra adventure designed for families and groups of friends. The excursion departs at 9:00am and returns around 4:00pm, with up to seven hours available at your discretion. Enjoy the freedom of a private boat while relaxing, swimming, and taking in the spectacular Caribbean scenery.

The journey to Culebra takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes each way, with around three hours of total sailing time. Typical stops include Luis Peña Beach, the entrance to Culebra town, and Carlos Rosario Beach, while the itinerary may change according to sea and weather conditions. Culebrita can also be requested, with approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes of sailing each way.

Guests can request a visit to Flamenco Beach, although strong waves and sargassum may prevent the boat from approaching the shore. When conditions are unsuitable, passengers can use a nearby private dock and take a ground taxi to the beach instead. Since the trip travels across open water, choppy conditions are possible, so guests prone to seasickness are advised to take appropriate medication before departure.

The private excursion includes a captain and crew, music, ice, fruits, appetizers, chicken dip, spicy crab, chips, soda, water, a cooler, diving equipment, floating mats, and lunch. Tips are optional and generally around 15% of the boat rental fee. Guests should bring swimwear, sunscreen cream, towels, water shoes, and one small handbag, while aerosol sunscreen is not permitted onboard.
