Tenerife Volcanoes And Teide National Park Tour

Discover the volcanic landscapes of Tenerife on a 5 hour tour through some of the islands most impressive viewpoints and natural areas. Travel through dramatic lava fields, volcanic scenery and pine forests while enjoying beautiful photo opportunities throughout the journey. The tour includes visits to Pico Viejo, Roques de García, the Parador de Cañadas del Teide and the Sámara volcano crater.

The journey begins with a drive along the new highway to the beautiful Chirche viewpoint, where you can take a short break and enjoy views of the surrounding landscape. There is also an opportunity to enjoy a local coffee known as El Barraquito before continuing toward the Boca Cangrejo volcano. Here you can see a 500 year old lava flow and enjoy views toward the neighboring island of La Gomera.

The tour then continues into Teide National Park, where you can take a short walk to the Sámara volcano crater. You will also pass Pico Viejo, known as El Pico Viejo, with its enormous lava field covering more than 5 square kilometers. The route continues to the famous Roques de García viewpoint, offering striking scenery and excellent opportunities for photographs. At the nearby Parador de Cañadas del Teide, you can also visit the café and souvenir shop.

On the return journey south, the tour stops at a beautiful viewpoint overlooking several volcanoes and an extensive pine forest. In Vilaflor, there is a final photo stop at El Pino Gordo, known as the oldest and largest pine tree. The journey then continues through the Abona wine region before returning to your hotel. Hotel or accommodation pickup is available in the south of the island, with an air conditioned vehicle, walking sticks, baby seats and pets allowed.
