Mehitabel is a 38 foot Lagoon catamaran built in 2010, offering spacious accommodations with four cabins, ten berths, and two heads. The catamaran features a sloop rig, conventional mainsail, furling headsail, hard bimini, and dodger for comfortable sailing.
The galley features a 4.5 cubic foot front load refrigerator, three burner propane stove, oven, and LP gas BBQ grill. Sailing equipment includes a depth sounder, knotmeter, radar chartplotter, autopilot, stereo CD, and USB outlets in each cabin.
The catamaran has required Coast Guard safety gear, engine fuel, cooking equipment, refrigerator, complimentary consumables, depth sounder, radar navigation, and autopilot. The electric windlass supports easier anchoring. Qualified skippers need recent similar vessel experience, ownership experience, or completion of a qualified charter certification program.
Complimentary boarding is available after 6 pm the night before the charter begins. Boats do not have bed linens, towels, or food seasonings. Soft luggage is required, while pets, tents, kayaks, and smoking are not allowed. Only soft sided coolers are permitted onboard. A general guideline is 30 days on 40 foot or larger boats within the last five years for catamaran charters.
