Lavender Hill Farm Bluegrass Concert
Lavender Hill Farm welcomes Horton Creek Bluegrass on September 5 for an evening of traditional and progressive bluegrass music in Northern Michigan. The longtime favorite brings a lively sound influenced by country, rock and traditional roots music to the restored 1920s barn.
The evening begins at 5:30pm with lawn picnicking and an outdoor performance by Steel and Wood in the amphitheater. Guests can relax on the farm grounds, enjoy the summer atmosphere and purchase snacks, drinks and lavender treats from the Farmhouse Boutique.
The main performance begins around 7:30pm inside the barn. Theater guests enjoy reserved seating with views of the stage, while lawn guests watch a real time audio and video feed on the outdoor amphitheater screen. Most shows finish between 9:30 and 10pm.
Guests should park at the Drying Shed lot and use the complimentary golf cart shuttle to reach the Ambassador Stand for check-in. Lawn guests should bring their own chair or blanket. Children must have an accompanying ticket holding adult, while children under two do not require tickets.
