Children begin by exploring the farm before joining a guided tour of the private specialty sunflower garden. They can choose from more than 10 colourful sunflower varieties and select their favourite blooms. Additional home grown flowers can be added to create a personal arrangement.
Farm owner Ursula Kressibucher provides step by step guidance throughout the workshop, helping children create a unique floral arrangement to take home. Each child receives one container for their arrangement and enjoys creative crafts and activities during the session.
A kid friendly charcuterie board, sweet snacks and light refreshments make the experience even more enjoyable. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the workshop, especially when using sharp garden snips. The activity is suitable for children who can safely handle sharp snips with adult support.
