A one-day adaptive climbing clinic is offering climbers aged sixteen and above a welcoming environment to develop skills, confidence and a stronger connection with the climbing community. The experience is open to participants across different experience levels, with instruction adapted to individual abilities, goals and needs.
The clinic may cover climbing movement, communication and adaptive climbing systems designed to support different approaches to climbing. Rather than following a rigid program, instructors tailor each session to the participant, creating opportunities to work on practical skills that can be applied during outdoor climbing.
Hands-on learning remains at the heart of the experience, with plenty of time spent climbing and receiving individualized coaching. Small guided groups allow participants to receive focused attention while exploring classic crags around North Conway. There may also be opportunities to try new climbing equipment.
Participants meet at Ledge Brewing Company at eight in the morning for check-in and gear fitting before departing for the crags. Reaching the climbing area may involve steep, rocky or slippery terrain. Participants are encouraged to discuss any accommodation requirements with the organizers in advance to help create a comfortable and accessible experience.
