A welcoming outdoor climbing clinic is giving women and gender queer climbers an opportunity to develop skills, confidence and community on the rock. The seven hour program is designed for participants aged sixteen and above, with instruction adapted to the group’s abilities, interests and goals.
The clinic welcomes climbers of different experience levels, from beginners to those seeking new connections and greater confidence outdoors. Depending on the group, instruction can cover movement techniques, belaying and communication, while more advanced technical systems may be introduced for experienced participants.
Hands-on learning and individualized coaching remain central throughout the day, with plenty of time dedicated to climbing and practical skill development. Small guided groups allow participants to receive focused attention while working through achievable challenges in a positive and supportive environment.
The experience explores classic climbing areas around North Conway, with check-in and gear fitting at Ledge Brewing Company at eight in the morning before departing for the crags. Participants should be prepared for steep, rocky and sometimes slippery approaches and should inform the guides in advance about any accommodations they may need.
